2009 International Forum on Sustainable Development

The 2-day forum aims at exploring the options for a sustainable future, based on equitable and ethical principles. Representatives from governments, the corporate sector, non-governmental organizations, academia, and research institutions will be sharing their perspectives and developing new collaborative relationships.
The forum will, in particular, highlight the challenges, choices and potential we face in current demanding times. It is our hope that forum will provide invaluable insights to help us forge a sustainable future.
Dr. Jane Goodall will be present at the forum as the keynote speaker. Apart from presenting her keynote speech, she will also be leading a discussion on the power of youths with Roots & Shoots representatives from Taiwan.
Speakers from Japan, Germany, Belize and Malaysia will also share their visions and experiences regarding sustainable development in their regions.
