台北縣淡水國小根與芽小組的師生，各個都是寄居蟹的「超級保鏢」！
故事要從十年前說起，民國八十六年，淡水國小的林燕瓊老師參加台北縣河川生態保育協會的活動，由師範大學生物系的黃生老師介紹潮間帶生物，黃老師的一句話，「潮間帶是大海的嘴唇」，深深吸引了林燕瓊。這句話究竟是什麼意思？林燕瓊解釋：「潮間帶是生態系不可或缺的一環，因為潮間帶的存在，陸地的污染物才能在進入大海前，被轉為安全物質。」
